Options:

A. Agree　はい＿＿＿＿です　　

はい、そう　です. or

 

はい、＿repeat noun＿＿＿です。

 

B. Disagree　いいえ＿＿＿＿＿じゃありません。

Insert　そう = ( that way)

いいえ、そう　じゃ　ありません　or そう　じゃ　ないです。No, it is not like that, not that way.

 

OR, repeat the Noun + add the Negative

じゃ　ありません

e.g.

せんせい　です　　か？

Are you a Sensei?

いいえ、　せんせい　じゃ　ありません

いいえ、 そう　じゃ　ありません
